Job Description:


Objective:


Responsible for Customer engagement, Driving software development and test team's with best in class Software Project Management practices towards quality deliverables/releases.


Responsibilities:


  • Responsible for Software Requirement understanding, Estimations, Planning, Scheduling, Tracking, Closure.
  • Customer engagement, Stakeholder management, Quality, Cost and Delivery are the key success factors.
  • Follow quality process for software development according to ISO26262 and ASPICE.
  • Contact with cross functional teams to support overall system development.
  • Monitor Software project schedules from requirement gathering to the delivery and complete project management practices.
  • Update Software timing plans and synchronize them with those of the customer on a regular basis.
  • Resource planning for development, integration and validation within the software technical team.
  • Support all continuous improvement and cost reduction efforts.
  • Gain OEM approval of manufacturing deviations as requested by the plant.
  • Familiar with Software Project management tools like JIRA, MS Project or similar. Status reporting methods.
  • Manage projects with teams across diverse cultures, Collaborative spirit.
  • Support new project acquisitions and RFQs.
  • Introduce new processes and methods to improve efficiency.
  • Responsible for team success and growth with quality deliverables to OEM's

Qualifications:


  • Degree in Electrical / Electronics/ Computer Engineering with more than 2 years of software project management experience.
  • Experience in complete Software development life cycle (SDLC), V Model.
  • Good knowledge in software project management practices, software development process, Agile, Scrum methodologies.
  • Experience in software requirements management, tools, elicitation techniques, estimation methods, critical path
  • Experience with configuration and change management tools
  • Knowledge / experience with Quality process & Safetystandards such as ASPICE/CMMI, ISO 2626
  • Good knowledge or must have used any one of the these protocols CAN, FlexRay, SPI, UART, I2C
  • Excellent communication skills. Interpersonal and negotiation skills are desirable.
  • Conflict and Risk management skills, Mitigation strategies, etc.
  • Able to learn independently and work well under tight development schedules.
  • Willing to work with a highly dynamic and culturally diverse team. Flexibility and Agility are key for success.
  • Advanced English level.

Nice to have:

  • PMP certification.
  • Scrum Master Certification
