We foster an inclusive culture and are looking for diverse, talented people to join Alcon.As a Data Analyst, Global Supply Chain Analytics supporting the Global Supply Chain team, you will be responsible for supporting the global day-to-day operations activities, analyzing large data sets to drive data-related insights, maintaining, and developing Tableau reports, implementing data quality controls, and troubleshooting data issues.
The analyst will collaborate with stakeholders to identify and deliver robust analytical capabilities to drive business performance.In this role, a typical day will include: Support all day to day publication activities for GSC analytics dashboards to ensure all dashboards are published on-time and with no/very minimal issuesAnalyze data to generate prescriptive and descriptive insights to drive supply chain performanceCreate and maintain rich interactive dashboards in Tableau by utilizing data from multiple data sources like SAP BW and Amazon Web ServicesCreate and maintain ETL workflows by utilizing AlteryxServe as gate keeper to ensure accuracy and completeness of data by developing and executing data quality controlsLiaise with Global Supply chain teams to gather requirements and fulfill any data related queriesWHAT YOU'
LL BRING TO ALCON:
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Statistics, Computer Science, or Data AnalyticsAt least 2 years experience developing/maintaining dashboards in TableauAt least 2 years experience developing/maintaining workflows in AlteryxAt least 2 years experience in database querying languages (SQL) and/or statistical programming language (Python, R, SAS) is a preferredAt least 2 years experience utilizing data warehouse technologies like SAP NetWeaver Business Warehouse, Amazon Web Services (Athena), or SnowflakeUnderstanding of supply chain concepts and pharma experience is preferredExperience in agile methodologies utilizing Jira/Confluence is preferredAdvanced English
