- Developing and executing category strategies for IT sectors to align with Vantive's business targets and procurement objectives.
- Overseeing the entire lifecycle of IT sourcing, covering Software, Hardware, Telecom, Network, and Services, from supplier selection to contract negotiation and ongoing supplier management.
- Collaborating with cross-functional groups, such as IT, finance, and legal, to guarantee that all procurement activities are in harmony with Vantive's business goals and regulatory standards.
- Ensuring that all procurement procedures adhere to Vantive's procurement policies and regulations and that suppliers are appropriately assessed and certified.
- Conducting thorough market research and analysis to pinpoint and assess potential suppliers, as well as negotiating contracts that offer the best value for Vantive.
- Establishing and retaining a profound understanding of the IT market, encompassing trends, technologies, and the supplier landscape, to ensure Vantive maintains a competitive edge and fosters innovation in its procurement operations.
- Devising and implementing initiatives and tactics to trim down procurement expenses for IT categories.
- Delivering regular reports and evaluations on procurement actions and cost savings to senior management and other stakeholders.
- A Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in indirect sourcing, procurement, or a related domain.
- Comprehensive understanding of IT procurement and sourcing, including contract negotiation and supplier management.
- Demonstrated record of achieving cost savings and enhancing procurement processes.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation capabilities, paired with the capacity to cultivate strong relationships with suppliers and cross-functional teams.
- Sound analytical and issue-solving proficiencies, with the knack for examining market trends and pinpointing cost-saving opportunities.
- Proficiency in procurement tools and systems, encompassing e-sourcing and contract management platforms.
- Experience in contracting involving Master Service Agreements, SaaS and Software License Agreements, Statements of Work, Amendments, and NDAs.

We are in search of a seasoned and highly proficient Indirect Procurement IT Category Manager to join our dynamic procurement unit at VANTIVE. As a vital member of our procurement team, you will oversee the indirect sourcing of IT products and services, ensuring the best value proposition and overall Total Cost of Ownership.
