We are seeking an experienced
Production Manager to join our team helping to all activities in the context of manufacturing yarns and fabrics marketed by BDMX, within the framework of achieving short and long term objectives, as established by the general management.

Job Content
In this position, you will be providing support to Operations Manager

Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
Ensures the quality of products manufactured in their area of responsibility
Organizes work flow to meet production schedules within defined lead times and in accordance with customer specifications
Allocates and manages optimal resources (human and material) to ensure manufacturing at the lowest possible cost
Evaluates new products and technologies related to the department
Manages continuous improvement projects, lean manufacturing to improve work environment, quality and efficiency
Compliance with safetyrelated laws and regulations, etc., in coordination / collaboration with the HR and safety coordinator
The supply of products and equipment to the departments. Generation of purchase orders and correct receipt of products and supplies in the specified inventory records
Training of tape, fabric and personal warping against established checklists and standards to provide for seamless operation between shifts and on product lines

Profile

Textile, industrial or related engineering
Fluent in English (spoken and written), knowledge of other languages is an asset
Proven experience in a têxtile production environment
Strong analytical skills to evaluate and interpret data, identify issues, and develop solutions
Ability to identify and resolve processrelated problems and inefficiencies
Effective communication skills to convey technical information to nontechnical stakeholders
Coaching skills and ability to generate impact by influencing
At least 5 years of experience
Flexible and stressresistant, able to work to deadlines and to prioritize conflicting and changing priorities
Selfmotivated with a sense of ownership and strong desire to succeed
Working knowledge of Microsoft office
Technical experience in working with ERP system, SAP
Experience with BI for analysis and reporting
A thorough understanding of the planning and scheduling processes
