JOB SUMMARY:

CPS (Commercial Products Supply) is a key part of Technical, Innovation and Supply Chain Function of The Coca-Cola Company. CPS manufactures concentrates and beverage bases for sale to bottling partners all over the world.

This global organization manages a network of 18 manufacturing plants in 18 different countries along with 3 office locations (Atlanta, Drogheda & Tokyo).


The Production Manager will be responsible for the manufacturing of concentrate and beverage bases for bottlers Mexico in a multi-site environment, considering CPS Mexico Plant, Lerma AdeS Plant and JDV-CPS Plant, complying with company safety, environmental and quality and developing the human capital in a safe workplace.

The scope of responsibilities also includes production scheduling, handling of ingredients & packaging materials, manufacturing processes and finished products deliver to Warehouse team.


This position will be responsible for managing human, manufacturing, and budgetary resources to conduct all the activities related with manufacturing processes in the different sites of CPS Mexico Operation, to satisfy our customer needs ensuring the service levels in terms of quality, time and cost.


KEY DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

Prioritized Responsibilities


  • Responsible for operations for the CPS Mexico Concentrate Plant ensuring consistency along the manufacturing processes for concentrate and beverage bases. Responsible for operations for the Site at Lerma ensuring all activities related to manufacturing processes of Soymilk extraction & kits preparation. Responsible for operations for the Site at JDV Tepozotlán ensuring manufacturing processes for kits related with JDV portfolio. Manage resources in to comply with the Master Production Schedule required for supplying first quality concentrate and beverage bases to System.
  • This position will be responsible for managing human, manufacturing, and budgetary resources to conduct all the activities related with manufacturing processes in the different sites of CPS Mexico Operation, to satisfy our customer needs ensuring the units volume goals & service levels in terms of quality, time and cost.
  • Accountable for process management, performance, and people management, meeting the KORE (Coca-Cola requirements) on Safety, Quality & Environmental. Ensure Food safety and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's), Productivity and efficiency guidelines established by the Company.

Ensure formal implementation and compliance of:
External / Internal certifications (ISO, OHSAS, KORE, KOSHER, Sustainable agricultural practices, etc.)


  • Manage short-, mid
- and long-term capacity requirements. Enable the Identification and implementation of new technologies and processes for continuous improvement.


  • To live Leading for Growth culture by promoting Growth Behaviors and being role modeling along the System. Active participation in different types of Network activities and meetings with other areas of the plant and Company organizations.
  • Accountable for promote CPS Transformation strategy along the Production teams in order to achieve the Plant of the Future milestones defined in the CPS Mexico roadmap.
  • Promote flexibility and our Total Beverage Company vision in order to achieve NP & reformulations launchings and initiatives according to Product & Portfolio initiatives.
  • Establish all technical and developmental training needs for all production personnel aligned with Job Framework strategy.

COMMUNICATION COMPLEXITIES:


  • Internal contacts: Planning department (demand and inventory information), QSE (quality and safety issues of the process), Accounting department (Control of stocks and costs and Manufacturing system information), Engineering (CAPEX and overall equipment performance), HR (FTE, headcount, hiring, comp and benefits), Supply Management (Ingredients opportunities and improvements), Shared Services (New Products strategy, Customer service)
  • External communication with Suppliers, Customers and Service providers JDV: Data Management, Planning, Manufacturing and Warehouse
  • BU: Technical areas regarding commercialization, strategic initiatives and productivity projects
  • R&D: New products, prototypes and trials for new formulas
  • CPS Global: CPS Network, Plant of the Future, global initiatives and use cases sharing.
