    Job Responsibilities:

  • Responsible to create the production plan or build sequence based on customer requirements and/or business direction.
  • Responsible for production order scheduling and administration, based upon material availability, demand, and capacity plan.
  • Communication focal for internal customers on production & deliveries schedule.
  • Responsible to monitor production execution, and to ensure finish product shipment.
  • Communicate and Escalate changes in orders and demand, as appropriate with stakeholders in the larger company organization.
  • Communication focal with procurement to verify incoming receipts.
  • Actively involved in resolving materials problems.
  • Collaborate and coordinate with cross functional teams to ensure on time delivery and production schedule reliability.
  • Primary responsible of production control; able to assist training others.
  • Maintains MRP system according to established production control policy for products in scope of work.
  • Collaborates in data gathering and analysis for inventory KPI's and E&O inventory of designated cell/area
  • Assists as required on cycle count process.
  • Compiles information: prepare, manages, and maintain production reports so performance problems and opportunities can be identified and resolved.
  • Support root cause analysis and implementation of countermeasures.
  • Demonstrate the use of key business processes and functional concepts necessary to succeed in the role.
  • Collaborate as required in activities related to product transfers and product introductions.
  • Applies Collins Customer Oriented Results and Excellence (CORE) operating system principles into the workplace.
  • Collaborate to implement solutions to remediate systemic and chronic production control turnbacks, delivery, and inventory challenges.
  • Basic Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3years of experience (Bachelor's degree with 3 years of experience or advanced degree with 2 years of experience) to include:
  • Working as a production cell level planner using logic-driven scheduling software such as SAP.
  • Experience analyzing production schedules for quality in their construction, and ability to produce valid critical paths.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in efficient and effective schedule analysis.
  • Must be proficient in MS Office applications (MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, MS Word).
  • Additional preferred competencies, and education:

  • APICS CPIM
  • Lean Manufacturing
  • Experience on Make-to-Order and Make-To-Forecast scheduling
