    Job Description

  • Responsibility for the SMT area and products having direct responsibility for manufacturing operations and engineering.
  • Lead a team of production to ensure work is properly delegated and deadlines are met.
  • Maintains the ability to prioritize projects and ensure they remain on schedule.
  • Supports and strives towards safety in all facets of the manufacturing facility.
  • Coordinates all activities necessary to fulfill the production schedule by line per shift, taking care about product quality requirements as per control plan.
  • Manufactures products by supervising staff, organizing and monitoring work flow.
  • Management, leadership and coordination of manufacturing engineering activities to plan and implement line concepts and install technical capacity in order to meet quality, cost and delivery targets.
  • Coordination of start-up of new products and lines involving internal and external stakeholder such as Development, Sales and Customer.
  • Lifecycle management including ramp-down planning and coordination within IPN.
  • Coordination of changes regarding existing products.
  • Providing technical inputs for commercial projects quotations.

    • Qualifications

  • Greater than 5 years' experience.
  • Automotive / electronics knowledge.
  • Communication with internal & external customers.
  • Adaption to customer changes.
  • Support team building/team dynamic.
  • Focus on improving indicators .
  • Establish and Support cross-functional knowledge transfer.
  • Problem Solving Methods (8D, Fishbone, 5Why, 6Sigma/Shainin, ...)
  • Moderation and communication/negotiation skills.
  • Ability to handle people.
  • Ability to use inductive and deductive reasoning.
  • Leadership
  • Conflict Management
  • English advanced
  • Industrial, mechatronics or electronics engineering, preferred Master degree
