About the Role
The Operations Manager is a key contributor to source, prepare and analyze data coming from TMS.

The operations Manager will act as a facilitator to achieve all the milestones from the Order to Cash (OTC) process and will supervise Jose Cuervo overall transportation operation.


Core activities for the operations Manager relative to Jose Cuervo operation:

  • Supervise Jose ́s Cuervo teams on cleaning the errors detected on TMS Shipment Error Correction module, indicating how to detect the errors and how to solve them.
  • Supervise and assist on improving the optimization and consolidation opportunities.
  • Ensure the daily plan matches with the shipments reflected in TMS and make sure all orders are fully planned.
  • Ensure rates and routing guides are available, up to date and complete in TMS.
  • Drive Jose Cuervo team for the utilization of visibility tools such as: Control Tower, and Shipment Monitoring Web
  • Guide and drive the change on Jose Cuervo teams on getting the different available tools to provide visibility for check call compliance and timeliness thought the use of Carrier portal, RC Tracking or EDI
  • Supervise uploaded and timely documents in Carrier Portal, support Jose Cuervo to cleaning discrepancies in Rate Maintenance module.

General core activities for the Operations Manager:

  • Prepare information for Monthly KPIs and Business Reviews as well as quarterly reviews.
  • Lead the automation of manual reports for daytoday operations.
  • Take the reporting in general to an automated level where customer can consult all without manual intervention.
  • On site position at customer facilities to leverage the interaction of TMS and users
  • Ticket creation and follow up for TMS issues related.
  • Guide and share best practices to carriers and customer for improving carrier performance and shipments visibility, consolidation, and equipment utilization.

Travel
- _Extensive travel is not required; however, availability is required._


Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 6 years of experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Degree on Business Engineering, Technology, Logistics, Transportation or Administration highly preferred
  • Proficient in excel, including, macros, queries, interfaces, tables, and pivot tables.
  • Good data analysis capacity to process large amount of data and synthetize is an efficient way.
  • Planning and organization: use time efficiently. Prioritize and plan work activities. anticipates situations in advance and prepares to face them. Integrate changes seamlessly.
  • Adaptability / Flexibility adapts to changes in the work environment to meet demands. Manage competitive demands. Manage difficult situations objectively and rationally.
  • Sense of Urgency: Posses the attitude and determination to stay focused on results and deadlines until the task or project is completed.
  • Multi-Tasking: Handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Prioritize and organize assignments to make efficient use of time with great attention to detail.
  • Leading and guiding the users to perform the daily activities though a new system, avoiding the manual work.
