Controls Senior Analyst

Which is the main objective of this role?

Responsibilities:


What will you be doing?

  • Identify business and IT process risks and assess their likelihood and impact
  • Identify and design business and IT process controls (automated or manual) to mitigate the risks
  • Prepare controls documentation (risk and control matrix, test scripts, control techniques or standard operating procedures)
  • Perform controls testing to assess the design and operational effectiveness
  • Maintain shared testing tracker to facilitate discussions over status and conclusions
  • Support management in the development, testing and governance of monitoring activities or analytics
  • Define requirements for internal controls and security governance
  • Develop the processes and content to operationalize the control and security governance requirements and processes
  • Support various process activities related to the control's governance, control automation and relevant suite of tools
  • Support discussions for crosssector control synergies and efficiencies
  • Execute control updates and populate templates as required by Global Control Standard (GCS)
  • Execute and manage ongoing changes to post golive security and control processes
  • Support the review and discovery of risk assessments to support risk analyses
  • Monitor the status of remediation plans
  • Perform quarterly followups on audit recommendations
  • Report status of audit recommendations
  • Assess evidence to confirm closure of audit recommendations
  • Participate in meetings to support the controls agenda
  • Adopt and adhere to project processes and methodology
  • Coordinate and work closely with internal PepsiCo controls teams / SMEs, project team members, business, IT and vendor stakeholders

Qualifications:

Who are we looking for?

  • Bachelors in Business, Accounting, Finance or Information Systems
  • 3+ years of control, technology risk and/or finance experience
  • Excellent communication skills both orally and in written form with ability to articulate to key stakeholders what our objective is and why (proficiency in Engligh language)
  • SAFe, COBIT, Six Sigma or other equivalent certification (preferred)
  • Project Life Cycle Experience (preferred e

  • Broad understanding of compliance, audit, and business controls activities
  • Working knowledge of basic control concepts and information security concepts
  • General understanding of the key process areas within the program (e.g., Supply Chain, Finance, Go-ToMarket, etc.)
  • Understanding of data analytics with proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Powerpoint, Word, etc.
  • Problem solver and intellectually curious with positive and resilient character
  • Ability to work collaboratively and communicate across international, multicultural and virtual teams
  • Able to demonstrate professional creativity, analytical thinking capacities, influential impact on others
  • Able to take ownership of deliverables assigned to themselves and address peer feedback in a timely manner
