Mexico Warehouse and Transportation Manager to be in
Mexico City.

Purpose:


This position leads and is accountable for all distribution operations of our Mexico DC's, covering the entire scope for warehousing and outbound transportation.

Two of our operations as J&J internal sites and the others run under 3PL model.

This position also leads all in-country transportation operations managing contract and relationship with carriers.


This regional operation represents a SG&A cost ~US$ 3MM that counts with capabilities for all Janssen product types: ambient temperature, cold chain and narcotics.

Strengthen Customer trust providing best-in-class distribution services that enhance customer experience while ensuring a safe and compliant supply chain.


You will be responsible for:


WAREHOUSING & TRANSPORTATION Management:


  • Leads the Deliver Janssen Warehouse and Outbound Transportation operations, driving efficiencies, adherence to compliance standards and digitalization opportunities to bring the organization to the next level.
  • Runs entire J&J DC operations for all Mexico Internal and 3PL sites and
  • Manage all transportation in country operations with great focus in Outbound Lastmile.
  • Address the innovation and transformation agenda related to automation, digitalization, and transportation systems.
  • Ensure the 3PLs & Carriers achieves the contracted SLAs for Service level, Cost, Quality, Compliance and Safety.
  • Participate in the development and support negotiation of contracts with 3PL providers & carriers in partnership with Procurement.
  • Lead the 3PL & Carriers' relationship and performance management program.
  • Responsible for freightpayment control process and day to day execution.
  • Leverage Analytics and E2E Integrator functions to drive business performance, improve customer service, support business growth and evolve the innovation/digitalization agenda.
  • Accountable for achieving all Deliver performance indicators for Service level, Cost, Quality, Compliance and Safety.
  • Partner with JJOS team for addressing process improvement initiatives in warehouse & transportation
  • Ensure 3PLs and Carriers adheres to all J&J Risk Management, Environmental, Safety, Housekeeping and Quality standards.
  • Conduct onsite operational reviews monthly and present formal presentations to the regional and global LT related performance, issues, opportunities for improvement, costs, etc.
  • Accountable for the change management related to the implementation of the regional & global network strategy, change in go to market strategy.
  • Partner with Segment integrator to execution and allocation of resources to ensure flawless NPIs within region and build new capacities / capabilities.
  • Partner with Segment integrator to the effective deployment of strategi programs like Deliver S&OP integration.
  • Accountable for the change management related to the implementation of the regional / global network strategy, any change in our go to market strategy.

  • Provide overall strategic direction to our distribution team and DC network.
  • Proactively surface and resolve key issues with a great sense of urgency, demonstrates continuous improvement including footprint, resource management, leveraged value, technology
  • Ensure Deliver is integrated into existing E2E business processes including local commercial
  • Identify and champion a talent development strategy (JJSC People Strategy) for high potential and high performing talent for the segment
  • Engage both with internal & external sources to drive continuous improvement for the organization and benchmarks
