- Play a crucial role in maintaining the department's general ledger, performing detailed financial analysis, and identifying unusual variances.
- Analyze, record, and report accounting transactions promptly.
- Prepare general ledger entries, account reconciliations, balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other accounting reports.
- Respond to inquiries from management, auditors, and other stakeholders regarding financial results and special requests.
- Review and enhance internal controls, recommend procedural changes, and implement best practices.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information to safeguard the organization's value.
- Manage accounting and budgeting activities for the Eaton Cummins Joint Venture Mexico Trading Ledger, including VAT, payroll, FX, and tax accounting.
- Oversee transfer pricing, cash management, and certain accounting tasks performed by Eaton.
- Coordinate and support both internal and external audits for the legal entity.
