    The Senior Specialist, Physician Assistant is responsible for the resolution of medical and patient care concerns, such as conducting medical supervision, interpreting patient laboratory and radiology results, performing medical treatments and therapeutic interventions, etc. with consistency on time as per physician instructions. This role will design Standard Operating Protocols and benchmarks to be implemented for the maintenance of accurate and confidential patient data, including patient medical history, assessment notes, treatment plans, progress notes, prescription records, referral consultation records, immunization records, etc. to ensure continuity of care, protect patient privacy, and support evidence-based decision-making. Additionally, the role will also be a subject matter expert on the responsibilities of the Physician Assistant function, advising junior members of the medical staff with an objective to uphold the highest standards of patient care.

  • Stablish a clear work plan and evaluate performance of direct reports (doctors, nutritionists, psychologist and nurse)
  • Creating a safe work environment to deliver expected results.
  • Develop strategies of excellence regarding Wellness, Mental Health and Occupational Health
  • Provides advisory and consultation services on technical matters related to billing for patient visits, procedures, and related services, as per organizational practices, and processes and in line with the required standards and timelines as the organization's principal subject matter expert on the domain.
  • Performs comprehensive and problem-focused physical assessments on patients, orders laboratory and diagnostic tests, and interprets and correlates results to assist physicians in formulating diagnosis and treatment plans.
  • Collaborates with physicians for the preparation of progress notes on patient charts, medical history, prescriptions, medication orders, referral documents, informed consent forms, etc.
  • Collaborates with physicians in the delivery of quality improvement projects focused on enhancing patient outcomes and satisfaction, redesigning care processes, improving the functionality and usability of the EHR systems, designing innovative patient education tools, developing complex case management protocols, etc. involving the development of innovative solutions and procedures to deal with complex problems with respect to the delivery of patient care services consistent with organizational objectives and long-term strategy.
  • Designs communication protocols and related policies for educating patients on medical history, patient prognosis, medical conditions, treatment options, self-management strategies, lifestyle modifications, discharge instructions, etc. as per organizational processes to provide clear and understandable information and engage patients in their healthcare decisions to ensure the best possible outcomes.
  • Designs standards, processes, and templates for the maintenance of accurate and confidential records and data including incident reports, quality improvement initiatives, patient communication documentation, privacy and security measures, etc. along with the associated reports and analytics to monitor trends and identify areas for improvement or intervention.
  • Demonstrates expertise across a range of medical subjects such as clinical medicine, patient assessment, medical ethics and law, medical procedures, preventive medicine, pathophysiology, radiology & imaging, etc. along with a strong understanding of related concepts and principles.
  • Education:

  • Bachelor Degree in Medicine
  • Experience:

  • Minimum 3 years of work experience performing Medical Coordinator role in any type of industry
  • Licenses and Certifications:

  • Unrestricted state license in the state of practice
  • Physician Assistant-Certified (PA-C))
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
  • Work Requirements:

  • Involves frequent (defined as one to two-thirds of the time) lifting of more than 10 to 25 pounds. Work performed requires a good deal of walking or standing and may include some sedentary work and working conditions that include moderate noise levels related to the use of office equipment or machinery. May involve exposure to varying outside temperatures.
