Eaton's VEH NAA North America Auto division is currently seeking a Maintenance Specialist.


What you'll do:

Eaton's Vehicle Group is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor in the new Aguascalientes, Mexico location.


Primary Function:


The Maintenance Specialist is responsible for supporting labor/capacity to safely & efficiently develop and execute Maintenance Plans for all production equipment/facilities and lead key maintenance processes/initiatives and people to ensure that Production, Customer Service, and Continuous Improvement objectives are met, in accordance with safety, quality, and customer requirements.

In this role, you will provide coaching, development, and direction to your team, while driving accountability in the business, ultimately supporting the organization in achieving its business level and strategic goals.

Essential Functions:


  • Develops and implements comprehensive maintenance plans to minimize downtime.
  • Develop predictive maintenance plans and deploy on all equipment and facilities.
  • Supervise shop floor employees to ensure maintenance work orders receive correct priorities, to maximize service levels.
  • Assist & develop cost improvement teams and drive team participation in 'Find It/Fix It' and other CI programs.
  • Work with the Manufacturing and Production Departments to develop, schedule and plan capacity (including attendance, vacation, and overtime management) to ensure safe, costeffective, & efficient execution of master facilities Maintenance Plan.
  • Define key spare parts and quantities needs based on equipment type and conditions.
  • Help identify best suppliers for components and ensure high quality of supply.
  • Define and setup maintenance areas in plant including equipment needs, tools, fixtures, and storage methods.
  • Lead the development of maintenance skill set needs considering short term and longterm site objectives.
  • Adhere to ISO 14001 policies and procedures, and you will ensure compliance within your respective department(s).
  • Have familiarity with the Emergency Response Plan.
  • Participate in workplace inspections conducted by the JHSC as defined in company procedure.
  • Implement Lean manufacturing at a departmental level through the use of lean tools and philosophies.
  • Manage capital and expense spending maintenance area. Ensure that all spending is in line both from a cost and timing perspective.
  • Develop and deploy the TPM Strategy
  • Assure environmental, health and safety requirements and regulations are satisfied when all maintenance projects are implemented

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution
  • Minimum of five (5) years of engineering and/or maintenance experience in manufacturing or operations environment
  • Good team facilitation skills and ability to work with internal resources, internal customers, external suppliers, and external customers
  • Bilingual (Spanish and English)

  • Bachelor's Degree in engineering from an accredited institution
  • Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills
  • Strong organizational, conflict resolution, & problemsolving skills
  • Lean Tools experience/ Six Sigma Green or Black Belt Certification
  • Oracle Knowledge
  • Manufacturing Process Knowledge of:
  • Forging, Machining, Grinding, Heat Treat
  • Plating, Welding, Inspection equipment
    Additional Information:
