Job Description:

Purpose of Position
This position is responsible for all warehouse activities, including product storage/retrieval, shipping coordination, and component storage.

Maintaining accurate inventories, assuring productivity goals are met; training employees and monitoring daily performance are key elements to this position.

Conducts physical inventories for department supplies for the purpose of verifying stock and identifying losses.
Supervises the daily activities of warehouse personnel.
Ensure that all products are properly receipted and inventoried.
Overseeing the planned maintenance of vehicles, machinery and equipment.
Coordinates the most efficient use of employees among the departments. Crosstraining as necessary to ensure this goal.
Monitors compliance with all safety programs; training where necessary.
Maintains security over all materials by monitoring access in these departments.
Maintains inventory at a proper accuracy level. This includes cycle counting, auditing and reviewing transactions as needed.
Institute and maintain ongoing costreduction/productivity improvement programs.
Perform all other assignments as directed, which could include both vacation coverage, and miscellaneous assignments within and outside of the Supply Chain.
Overseeing stock control and processing orders.
Producing regular reports and statics on a daily, weekly and monthly basis
Motivating, organizing and encouraging teamwork within the workforce to ensure set productivity targets are met.
