The Uber Eats Strategy & Planning team leads business strategy and executes partnerships that have scaled impact on our customers, merchant partners, and courier partners.


About the Role:


As a Strategy & Planning Associate, you will help us with the strategic business planning process and projects across Mexico, as well as Strategic Initiatives that will transform our business.

You will also develop strategies to improve internal communication, process and mandates, author strategic partnerships and initiatives, explore sophisticated business issues, and market analysis, prioritize key strategic meetings with different teams, and develop the respective action plans


What You'll Do:


  • Collaborate with different city, regional, and global teams to identify high priority business needs and detail the vast Uber data universe
  • Develop and run tools and processes to complete strategic and business plans
  • Deliver on initiatives and goals through thoughtful interpersonal planning and project management
  • Serve as a strategic consultant to the business through trusted partner relationships with the leadership team, delivering impact against priorities that will benefit the business and employees
  • Actively support all business intelligence, strategic planning and analytical activity for senior management of the country
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional partners in operations and product to bring 'first of their kind' partnerships to life
  • Set, supervise and report on strategic performance metrics
  • Develop internal communication strategies for Mexico crafting the processes to better orchestrate communication for the region
  • Drive operational precision in high growth Mexican markets through process improvements and better alignment between verticals
  • Identify internal operational opportunities and help improve or innovate people programs to keep them as effective and efficient as possible (i.e., Org Design, talent strategies, Recruiting efficiencies, among others)

What You'll Need:


  • Ability to take initiative in a constantlychanging work environment while maintaining flexibility and a collaborative demeanor
  • Detailed understanding of a variety of business models (we're still proving ours)
  • Datadriven decision making ability and sound business judgment through deep analytical thinking
- +3 years of robust work experience in consulting, investment banking, startups, strategy & planning, operations, or other specialty roles with proven record in quantitative fields

  • Professional proficiency in English

Preferred Qualifications:


  • Quantitative Bachelor's degree (engineering, mathematics, finance, economics, physics, etc.)
  • SQL experience is a plus
