The New Consumer Health Company is recruiting for a
Senior Specialist, Agile Procurement LATAM as member of the LATAM Hub to be located in
Ciudad de México.



Purpose:


The Senior Specialist of Procurement, is leading Procurement activities across all spend categories for the region, driving alignment between business and category strategies.

The specialist will drive strategic business and industry engagement to establish a reliable, resilient, and effective supply base for the company, and will also be tasked with delivering on end-to-end targets by driving activities including, but not limited to, Regional Category Management (where applicable), Supplier Management, Sourcing, Contracting, Innovation.

The Specialist will be accountable to delivering bold financial targets, including cost and working capital improvement.

Further, the manager will deliver against a balanced value proposition including innovation, environmental, social, and corporate governance (ESG), and procurement process excellence.

The specialists must embrace agile ways of working and drive projects with curiosity and passion


The Specialists of Procurement will be a critical partner of regionally/local market-based Leadership Teams in the New Consumer Health Company.


Responsibilities:


  • Engage in the development of all category strategies to establish a world class organization and supply base that the New Consumer Health Company can use to its advantage to create a competitive advantage
  • Ensure effective incorporation of company strategy and goals into category strategies
  • Deliver regional financial, ESG, service, and innovation targets
  • Steward financial policy and responsible supplier and procurement standards
  • Leverage and magnify fit for purpose procurement process solutions, including the utiliworldclassorld class digital solutions, use of business process outsourcing, and deployment of internal resources for the region
  • Engage with executive leadership in key supplier relationships
  • Cultivate a culture of diversity, equity and inclusion
  • Benchmark industrystandard processes and continuously advance procurement capabilities.

Position Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree is required
  • A minimum of 5 years of working experience in procurement or a related expertise is required,
  • Advanced level of English and Spanish is a must. Portuguese is a plus
  • Extensive knowledge of the LATAM region is required
  • Demonstrated leadership and deployment of standard processes in ESG strategies is required
  • Leadership, communication, influencing, and collaboration skills are required
  • Experience in identifying and harnessing customer oriented innovative solutions is required
  • Proven track record delivering against a balanced portfolio of key performance indicators is required
  • Ability to influence and understand the diverse needs of internal customers is required
  • Travel up to 10% domestic & international may be required

Preferred Requirements

  • Experience in the consumer goods industry preferred
  • Demonstrated experience of regional category management/ execution is preferred
  • Experience in both direct and indirect Procurement is an asset
  • Track record of working with Agile ways of working.
  • Strong project management skills, with experience leading crossfunctional projects are required.
  • Demonstrated effectively working remotely with business partners
  • Demonstrated experience influencing in a matrixed environment is required
  • Analytical skills to perform data analyses in support of sourcing strategy development
