Responsabilidades: Identifies current and future maintenance requirements by establishing rapport with management, engineering, technicians, operators and other persons to understand maintenance requirements; recommends and participates in capital improvement projects.

Ensures production operations by determining work priorities and scheduling repair, maintenance and installation of machines, tools and equipment.

Supports process equipment development and improvement by reviewing new processing plans; discusses equipment needs and modifications with internal and external engineering personnel; coordinates activities of direct reports.

Provides for facility utilities by directing the installation, modification and maintenance of utility system activities

Designs, implements and modifies preventative maintenance programs by reviewing production, quality control and maintenance reports and statistics; inspects operating machines, equipment, and systems for conformance with operational and or regulatory standards Directs maintenance operations by initiating, coordinating and enforcing programs, operational, and employee relations policies and procedures: on-call at all times to minimize downtime.

Resolves maintenance problems by conferring with management, engineering and quality personnel

Protects employees and visitors by maintaining a safe and clean working environment; reviews organization safety/maintenance checks and program results; directs custodial and facility work functions, including pest control, to maintain a professional working environment consistent with company GMP as well as external regulatory requirements.

Protects company confidential information by properly storing, retrieving and disseminating such information only to those authorized Ensures that all federal, state and local regulations pertaining to, but not limited to licensing compliance, safety, EPA, OSHA, FDA rules and

Requisitos

· BS Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering or other engineering discipline.

· Master degree preferably

· Bilingual (English – Spanish)

· A minimum of five (5) years in an industrial maintenance environment including a working knowledge of pneumatics, welding, mechanics, hydraulics, electrical, and electronic applications.

· A minimum of two (2) years of supervisory or management experience.

· Experience in Pharmaceutical or Medical Device sterilization preferred.

· Experience in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power point required.

· Ability to supervise outside contractors.

· Normal hearing range sufficient to hear alarms, bells, horns, etc.

· Ability to work independently under general guidelines and supervision.

· Ability to make decisions, ability to negotiate

· Excellent organizational habits

· Management of personnel and work teams
