Eaton's AER ITD division is currently seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer.


What you'll do:


The Supplier Quality Engineer is responsible for the planning of activities, execution and monitoring of suppliers that provide product of quality in the organization, as well oversight of incoming inspection, it will also support with the development of new suppliers/capabilities following all steps of qualification required.


Primary Responsibilities

  • Deploys Quality Improvement Plans with key suppliers.
  • Leads supplier meetings and onsite audits as required for performance review and continuous compliance.
  • APQP Approach when approving/developing new suppliers.
  • PFMEA, FAIRS, Capacity Analysis, MSA.
  • Create and maintains company quality documentation, quality procedures.
  • Assist Quality manager, in establishing, implementing, and maintaining the quality management system.
  • Support the Quality Inspectors to ensure that products and processes comply with the relevant requirements of the quality management system.
  • Responsible for incoming inspection, review and disposition of nonconforming material related to supplier's liability.
  • Root cause analysis and implementation of corrective action for process related concerns.
  • Lead Corrective actions and Nonconformance product resolution.
  • Ensure timely resolution of supplier failure, corrective actions and preventive actions.
  • Preparation of QA reports.
  • Any other duties, as assigned.

Qualifications:


  • Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering degree or equivalent.
  • Minimum 23 years of related experience.
  • Familiarity with AS9100 (preferred) or ISO 9000
  • Highlevel MS Office computer skills Microsoft Word, Excel and others.


  • English level

  • Advanced
  • Written and verbal communications skills.
