We are looking for a Senior Engineer.

In this role, you will be working with Product reliability and quality teams responsible for validating electronics performance and isolating defectivity and ultimately determining root cause and mitigation.

Our products are used in a wide range of technology industries including EV, solar, cellular communication, and advanced wireless RF electronics.


Key Areas of workload/Contribution:


  • Devise and execute parametric and RF test including: Bench test emulation with digital and RF test fixtures while utilizing various parametric and RF benchtop test equipment.
  • Engineering knowledge or coursework in digital CMOS and HBJT RF constructs and associated devices.
  • Desirable to have prior knowledge in the areas of failure analysis tools and techniques including: Visible, NIR and IR microscopes, X-RAY CT imaging, SEM (scanning electron microscope), Acoustic microscopy (CSAM), Silicon (Si) and Gallium Arsenic (GaAs) wet/dry etching tools and techniques and mechanical polishing and sample preparation techniques.
  • Data analysis skills and exposure to troubleshooting electronic components including semiconductor chips, surface mount components, printed circuit boards and wirebond and flip chip modules.
  • Engineering acumen to communicate and Interface with quality, reliability, and design teams to isolate failures and determine root cause.
  • Other key aspects of the position:
  • You should have excellent written and oral communication skills and should be comfortable in reporting and presenting technical concepts and lab results to a wide range of audiences including more senior engineers and management teams.

  • You should have a disciplined approach to your work. We track and administer our work using task management tools and other collaboration tools to properly document lab work plans and work outcomes.

Qualifications and Skills:


  • Undergraduate or graduate degree in EE, CE, or equivalent
  • Strong understanding of electrical circuit fundamentals and operation.
  • Basic understanding of digital and RF semiconductor fundamentals.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and debug complex systems (hardware and test interfaces).
  • Printed circuit board and chip design schematic capture and layout software tools.

Preferable Skills:


  • Coursework or experience with digital and RF test equipment and measurements.
  • Coursework or experience with electrical failure analysis and physical failure analysis tools and concepts
  • A great attitude with an eagerness to learn and the ability to adapt to new technical challenges.

Salary:
Up to $106,458.00 per month
