    Role Summary

    Velafi is seeking an experienced Enterprise Sales - LATAM to lead enterprise and fintech client acquisition across Latin America. The ideal candidate brings deep industry knowledge, a strong network within fintech and financial institutions, and expertise in cross-border financial infrastructure and compliance-driven sales.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan targeting fintechs and enterprise finance companies.
    • Own the full sales cycle, from prospecting to closing complex, multi-stakeholder deals.
    • Understand and articulate client needs, delivering customized cross-border payment solutions.
    • Build long-term, consultative relationships with high-value clients.
    • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure solution alignment and client success.
    • Attend industry events and maintain visibility within the fintech ecosystem.
    • Track market trends to identify new business opportunities.

    Requirements

    • 5+ years of enterprise or fintech B2B sales experience.
    • Strong background in cross-border payments, FX, or financial APIs.
    • Proven ability to generate or manage at least $30M USD in Total Payment Volume (TPV) per month.
    • Advanced understanding of AML/compliance (PLD) requirements and risk-based sales in regulated environments.
    • Network within LATAM's fintech and financial services ecosystem.
    • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field.
    • Fluent in English and Spanish or Portuguese.
