About the Role:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and enthusiastic individual to join our finance team as an Accounting Analyst. This role will encompass various responsibilities, such as:

Handle day-to-day financial transactions, including data entry of receipts, invoices, and other financial documents.
Maintain organized and accurate financial records to ensure the integrity of financial data.
Manage the processing of bills, ensuring accuracy and adherence to payment schedules.
Reconcile vendor statements and address discrepancies in a timely manner.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve payment-related inquiries.
Assist in the preparation of financial statements by performing reconciliations and ensuring the accuracy of supporting documentation.
Work closely with the accounting team to compile data and information required for financial reporting.
Support the implementation of accounting standards and policies to ensure compliance.
Execute day-to-day accounting activities, including journal entries and month-end close processes.

Who You Are:

Accounting, Finance, or related field graduate with work experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or administrative tasks.
Accuracy and attention to detail are essential.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Proactive mindset with a keen interest in understanding and improving processes.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.

Some nice to haves:

Experience with QuickBooks Online and familiarity with financial statements.
Experience or interest in the fintech sector (will need to understand how the whole business works to handle financial records).
Comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
