Responsibilities:


Financial Planning Coordinator (Capex Owner - CARICAM)

Main purpose
Support LatAm Capex and assets strategy director to lead the Capital investment process (CapEx) for LatAm Sector by:

  • Integrating the CapEx Plan the different planning cycles: long term, AOP and Forecast scenarios for CARICAM.
  • Conducting financial evaluations of all CARICAM projects to ensure a positive return of our Capital Investments.
  • Coordinating CARICAM Capex Comitee and projects approval process, safeguarding the adherence to PEP Capex and fixed assets policies.
  • Provide financial guidance to CARICAM teams regarding Capex process and capital investment project evaluation and policies.
  • Collaborating with Sector in different projects and suggesting creative ways to reduce use of capital through assets light strategies.

Your Impact
As the OU Capex Coordinator (CARICAM) your scope will consist of:

  • Support LatAm Capex Dir in delivering the Capital Plan financials.
  • Lead the integration of the OU Capex plans for the different financial planning cycles (PSP, AOP, forecast).
  • Provide financial guidance for Capital investments to OU teams.
  • Ensure benefits from Capex are achieved according to projects commitments.
  • Guarantee capital budget execution considering growth needs and cash flow availability.
  • Lead the OU capex comitee and coordinate the approval process.
  • Collaborate with Sector to recommend and drive assets light projects.
  • Oversee that projects are approved in alignment with existing PepsiCo policies and executed according business case.

Qualifications:

Who Are We Looking For?

Education: Finance, Economics, Engineering, Administration.

  • Minimum 2 years of experience (preferable in finance).
-
Computer literate: Advanced Excel, Power Point.
-
Language: Spanish / English fluent, Portuguese preferred.

  • Deep understanding of a P&L and its drivers.
  • Leverage knowledge of core business and trade economics to make informed decisions that result in positive financial outcomes.
  • Analyze and anticipate performance trends and external events; provide recommendations to drive business results.
  • Provide support and tools for capital investment decisions and communication.
  • Provide timely and accurate information for management reporting; generate insightful and significant business analyses.
  • Provide finance business perspective in developing Operations projects.
  • Utilizes interpersonal and communication skills to lead, influence, and encourage others; advocates sound financial/business decision making; demonstrates honesty/integrity.
  • Adaptable to multicultural environment.
  • Strong collaboration/matrix management.
