Master Data Governance Specialist:

About the Unit:

Responsibilities:

The Master Data Specialist is responsible for guiding the development and implementation of master data process and policies for Americas supporting and evaluating impact of data on Yara Americas ambitions and strategy.

Promote best practices of master data management leading process and business rules towards guaranteed compliance, data quality and efficiency as well as responsible for the compliance of organization's Ethic and Values and GDPR compliance.

Work alongside and continuous collaborate with global Master Data Management team adhering to global guidelines and servicing YAM master data thru federated master data management services
Actively contribute to endtoend implementation of embedded MDG on YAM's S4 instance and thereafter continued MDG services
Responsible for the definition, the creation and management, the quality, the protection and the use of regional/local specific data of a globally governed dataobject or a regional/local specific data object
Elaborates and proposes data regional/local policies & standards in communication with Global Master Data Management team
Reports activities and decisions regional/local Data Owner(s) and other Stakeholders related to the Data object
Manage the lifecycle of YAM Master Data objects according to agreed service levels with validation steps to adhere to defined business data rules both global and regional
Proactively cleanse and/or transform YAM data content by triggering cleansing, audits, and validations to ensure complete, consistent, accurate and current data
Identify improvement areas and align activities to global master data management's roadmap activities to both improve existing processes and focus on bringing value to Yara business' data consumption
Identify and support technical changes on SAP's Master Data Governance (MDG) platform in collaboration with Yara's service providers
Continuously monitor and implement data quality on master data objects and take appropriate action to improve data quality including data analytics/dashboard
Manage mass changes of data sets thru Evolve's platform services
Contribute to DT and/or business e.nable project for master data tasks

Profile:

Education:

Complete Higher Education.
Proven experience regarding master data management.
English: spoken and written fluid.
Spanish/Portuguese is a plus.

Work Experience:

Expert SAP ECC/S4 Master data and MDG architecture design, implementation of SAP MDG in S4/Hana projects.
Experience in data migration for SAP S4/Hana implementation.
SAP S/4HANA Business Process of SAP functional modules.

Knowledge and Skills
