    Job Title: Production Engineering Specialist at LEGO Operaciones de Mexico

    Are you ready to bring value to yourself and the organization by putting your superpowers to work as a Production Engineering Specialist at LEGO Operaciones de Mexico?

    In this role, you will be part of the team responsible for the production engineering area for packing drives LCI and IMS plan, facilitating the transition and execution of projects and improvements to production, as well as supporting operations problem-solving. Your main challenges will include stakeholder management, sharing best practices with other plants, following up on tactical implementation plans, identifying opportunity areas, and executing projects to address them.

    Your Role in Our Team's Success

    As a Production Engineering Specialist, your contribution to Final Pack is vital for packing toys of the best quality, sustaining operational momentum, and ensuring our team's integrity to provide fun to the builders of tomorrow. Working collaboratively, you will focus on meeting the needs of our key customers: Planning, Shipping, and Warehouse.

    Core Responsibilities:

    • Creation of procedures
    • Installation of new equipment and engineering changes
    • Daily support in production lines
    • Identifying areas for process and equipment improvements
    • Communication with suppliers
    • Project management following LEGO guidelines
    • Continuous improvement projects
    • Alignment with IMS requirements
    • Information maintenance in SAP BW
    • Interaction and support for production systems
    • Incident reporting
    • Adherence to safety, health, environment, and quality policies
    • Participation in related activities and programs
    • Compliance with OHSAS 18001, ISO 14001, & ISO 9001 requirements
    • Environmental care

    This role offers exposure to various areas within LOM, providing insights into day-to-day operations, quality, compliance, and continuous improvement. Collaboration with Packing managers is essential to ensure successful project implementation.

    Do You Have What It Takes?

    • Minimum 5 years' experience in production and manufacturing or engineering
    • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing
    • Fluent in English
    • IT competencies: Proficient in PC usage and Excel
    • Skills in analysis, problem-solving, continuous improvement, leadership, communication, and statistics
    • Experience with projects execution and integrated management systems

    Note: This position is based at LEGO Operaciones de Mexico manufacturing factory located in Cienega de Flores, NL. It is not a remote position.
