The Team
You are joining the Software Foundations and Applications team (SoFA) where you will be responsible for leading the Cloud Apps team for Outrider's autonomous trucks. These teams are collaborative and committed to continuous improvement. The Cloud Apps team, made up of full stack software developers, is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud applications for external customers and for internal use at Outrider.
The Role
The Manager - Cloud Apps will report to the Senior Manager of Software Foundations and Applications and support the architecting, planning, and execution of the Cloud Apps team. This position requires proven people management and team-building skills. A successful candidate has attention to detail and an ability to learn and adapt in unstructured environments. It is crucial to have comprehensive technical, cloud architecture, and cloud application development skills. Although this is primarily a management role, it is expected that this individual is capable of, and occasionally writes some application code themselves.
