Analyst IT - Procure to Pay (P2P) Oracle EBS

He/She serves as a liaison between the business community and the IT organization to provide techno functional solutions to meet business needs.

This position also works on cross-functional modules in the environment of Order-to-Cash (O2C), Procure-to-Pay (P2P) and Plan to Manufacture (P2M) cycles with possible integration of third-party systems.

Performs functional analysis, requirements documentation and ERP module configuration and testing.

Also, responsible to develop, coordinate, and implement test plans with the super users for functional changes, bug fixes, enhancements, patches, and upgrades related to Oracle EBS Procure to Pay modules.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

Participates on Process design, specification development, system configuration, testing, and end user training for Oracle EBS R12 Procure to Pay modules including Requisitions, Procurement, Contracts Management and Payables. Production support of Oracle R12 Procure to Pay modules and 3rd party interfaces. This includes root cause analysis and service request creation and follow up with Oracle for closure. Supports the process improvement initiatives and works closely with the functional leads to design solutions adhering to the IT service delivery guidelines. Participates in user acceptance testing (UAT) process to ensure the implemented systems are bug free and integrates well with rest of the processes. Maintains the functional documentation related to order management process. Examples include BR100, monthly cadence document and other functional design documents for custom objects. Conducts gap-analysis and works with business leaders to enhance Procure to Pay(P2P) modules. Support the implementation of solutions through a formal process including requirements gathering and definition, gap analysis, design, development, configuration, project planning, testing and deployment. Participates on production migration of fixes and enhancements.
Develop and coach an effective user and super-user community.

  • Graduate in Business, Finance, or Computer Science. Master's degree is desirable. 45 years of direct experience with Oracle EBS R12 Procure to Pay modules. 45 years of experience with Oracle EBS Accounts payables and 3rd party interfaces

REQUIRED SKILLS:

Functional knowledge in Oracle EBS modules like Procurement and Accounts Payables. Techno knowledge desirable. Knowledge and experience in supply chain management processes such as supply chain planning, demand planning and inventory management. Optional knowledge in Ariba, Banking Systems and related 3rd party interfaces will be an added advantage. Ability to interact with cross functions from planning, commercial and IT. Adept knowledge of the underlying Oracle schema, integration points, data conversion and technology processes. Experience in Oracle PL/SQL, Triggers, Procedures, API, Interfaces, RICE Components will be an added advantage. Experience with Oracle Implementation Methodology, Business Process Engineering, and similar ERP implementation methodologies. Must understand the data flow and table structures in Oracle EBS Order Management and other related modules. Excellent communication skills, customer service skills and ability to communicate with Business leaders, technical team, and external vendors.
Participates on process documentation and training skills. Exposure and knowledge in project management methodologies.
Ability to work in a matrix management environment with various objectives and priorities.
