JOB SUMMARY:


The Multi-Site Bills of Material (BOM) Analyst partners with manufacturing and materials to ensure accuracy of the manufacturing site BOM.

The analyst certifies that proposed changes to the site BOM are approved before making updates to the Multi Site and ERP systems.

The successful analyst is detail-oriented and a good communicator. Further, they excel at collaborating with others. This individual enjoys performing standard work processes yet is also able to propose creative solutions.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Partner with materials, manufacturing, and others to ensure accuracy of factory BOM
  • Identify new Engineering BOMS as they are created
  • Ensure all parts in the BOM are structured correctly to ensure timely planning of every part.
  • Develop and document the process to review every plant's BOMS for accuracy
  • Modify and maintain BOMS for plants, as necessary
  • Modify and maintain Item attributes for plants, as necessary
  • Initiate request for additional parts on the BOM (ECN) via PRS
  • Proactively engage with stakeholders to communicate item or BOM questions and/or errors
  • Perform root cause analysis on recurring issues with parts and/or BOMS document results
  • Propose solutions and/or enhancements to existing tools to improve the process of maintaining BOMS and parts
  • Provide regular updates to appropriate individuals with information on BOMS and Parts that will impact production
  • Work crossfunctionally to keep all BOMS and parts accurate to ensure on time production.
  • Keep standard work documentation current and relevant
  • Encourage standard work adherence within the team
  • Contribute to development of team documentation and processes
SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE


Minimum Qualifications:

  • 35 years' experience with MAPICS or similar ERP system 35 years' experience with Bills of Materials Strong oral and written communication skills Ability and willingness to travel up to 15%

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a Business/Management, Engineering/Technology or equivalent experience. 35 years' experience in a manufacturing setting
