Business Unit Finance Analyst:


The Business Unit Finance Analyst serves as a business partner for specific therapeutic areas, providing support to marketing teams generating the information and analysis required to support decision-making and monitoring of business performance.

Compliance focal point responsible for ensuring SOX Controls. The role includes evaluating and monitoring processes, procedures, and activities to identify and mitigate risks.


Responsibilities:


  • Assist in the development of marketing budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.
  • Collaborating with marketing teams to align financial goals and objectives with overall marketing strategies.
  • Supervising and reporting on actual versus planned spending and providing insights on budget variances.
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams, such as marketing, global services, and sales, capture the input, and share insights.
  • Support marketing teams with financial analysis and recommendations for decisionmaking.
  • Develop financial models and analysis. Build tools for directors and managers to support decisionmaking.
  • Supervise the implementation and adherence to internal control policies and procedures throughout the organization, addressing noncompliance issues and recommending corrective actions.
  • Assist with internal and external audit engagements, providing required documentation and evidence to auditors, responding to inquiries, and addressing audit recommendations

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Finance, and Industrial Engineering, among others.
  • Five years of experience is required.
  • Knowledge of Accounting and financial processes (financial and control, analysis, financial planning and forecasting, reports, and variance analysis, Budget Control) is required.
  • Experience in commercial finance is considered a differential capability.
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience with SAP and Anaplan is a plus.
  • Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal relationship skills
  • Required languages: Sophisticated English level.
