We are seeking a skilled and experienced NetSuite Financial Systems Administrator to join our organization.
As a NetSuite Financial Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for overseeing the administration, and optimization of the company's financial systems, including all boundary systems and integrations.
This includes managing bug-fixes, enhancements, reporting, and projects associated with different financial systems platforms such as NetSuite, Hyperion PBCS, Concur, FloQast, NetGain, etc.
Responsibilities:
Oversight and Administration: Manage the company's financial systems, including all boundary systems and integrations. Ensure smooth operations, timely bug-fixes, enhancements, reporting, and project management for various financial systems platforms.
Collaboration and Vendor Management:
Collaborate, negotiate, research, interview, and contract third-party companies that provide services or products related to financial systems. Ensure effective partnerships and manage vendor relationships.
Request Triage and Execution:
Triage and execute all requests related to the applications used by accounting and finance. Prioritize and resolve issues in a timely manner, ensuring user satisfaction.
Problem Analysis and Solution Delivery:
Analyze problems, formulate recommendations, and deliver solutions that achieve desired results in a timely and effective manner. Apply critical thinking and troubleshooting skills to address system-related issues.
Standards and Best Practices:
Implement standards and best practices for supporting financial applications used by the accounting and finance departments. Ensure compliance with established guidelines and industry standards.
First Point of Contact:
Serve as the first point of contact for all financial software-related inquiries. Provide timely and effective support to end-users, addressing their questions and concerns.
Cross-Departmental Liaison:
Collaborate with other department heads and personnel regarding the use of financial applications. Act as the interface between accounting/finance and the IT department for technical incidents, change requests, and business continuity processes.
Technology Awareness:
Stay abreast of new technologies and applications related to financial systems. Participate in technology roadmap planning as needed.
Compliance and Controls:
Manage all financial systems controls and the remediation processes for any deficiencies identified during internal and external audits. Ensure compliance, data integrity, segregation of duties (SoD), user access management, and master data maintenance.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Data Science or a related field.
Proven experience as a NetSuite Administrator or similar role, with in-depth knowledge of NetSuite financial modules.
Strong understanding of finance and accounting principles and practices.
Proficiency in configuring and customizing NetSuite, including creating saved searches, reports, and workflows.
Familiarity with other financial systems such as Hyperion PBCS, Concur, FloQast, NetGain, etc., is a plus.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify system issues and propose effective solutions.
Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy and integrity.
NetSuite implementation experience and certifications, such as SuiteFoundation or Administrator, are preferred.
