    We are looking for a Kotlin Software Engineer , based in Mexico City to work on a long-term project for one of our clients, a software company based in Mountain View, California.

    Our client has created the most popular search engine becoming one of the most widely used search platforms on the internet.

    The person in this role will be part of the team responsible for developing, updating and implementing the tools that are used by the entire company.

    Responsibilities

    • Work with the team to improve the tools that are currently in use and build new ones.
    • Develop high-quality, efficient, and maintainable Kotlin code
    • Collaborate with product managers and designers to turn design specifications into functional, user-friendly tools
    • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers to ensure code quality and adherence to coding standards.
    • Optimize application performance and address any technical challenges.
    • Debug and fix issues, including identifying and resolving bugs.
    • Stay up-to-date with Kotlin development best practices and trends.

    Requirements

    • Advanced Level of English
    • 5+ years of experience working as a software Developer
    • 3+ years of experience working with Kotlin
    • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
    • Experience working with GCP
    • Experience working with NoSQL database

    Bonus Points

    • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering or related fields
    • Experience working with BigQuery
    • Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
