Currently we are looking for our next:

Audit Sr. Staff Auditor

Which is the main objective of this role?

  • Lead assigned process walkthroughs facilitated by the business, to develop an understanding of the business and process being audited
  • Identify financial, operational, routine and nonroutine risks, as well as the risk mitigating activities relating to the risks
  • Perform controls testing of assigned areas of the audit (can include Financial Reporting and/or IT General Controls (ITGCs))
  • Communicate identified deficiencies, perform root cause analysis and prepare recommendations for remediation, quantify the potential financial impact with team members, present to Audit Director and align with key business stakeholders
  • Leverage overall business/industry/functional knowledge and prior audits to improve effectiveness and develop audit efficiencies

What will you be doing?

  • Support operational, compliance and financial audits to identify risks and control breakdowns that may impact the integrity of reported financial information and/or the achievement of business objectives
  • Lead assigned process walkthroughs facilitated by the business, to develop an understanding of the business and process being audited
  • Identify financial, operational, routine and nonroutine risks, as well as the mitigating controls relating to the risks
  • Perform controls testing of assigned areas of the audit
  • Communicate identified deficiencies, perform root cause analysis and prepare recommendations for remediation, quantify the potential financial impact with team members, present to Audit Director and align with key business stakeholders
  • Leverage overall business/industry/functional knowledge and prior audits to improve effectiveness and develop audit efficiencies
  • Share knowledge to ensure the ongoing success of the team

Qualifications

Who are we looking for?

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business or Accounting
  • 4+ years of Accounting, Finance or Operations experience
  • Fluent in written and spoken English

Differentiating competencies

  • PepsiCo business experience and/or previous Big 4 Public Accounting experience and/or CPA and/or comparable internal audit experience
  • Strong people and communication skills to manage information gathering
  • Strong organization skills
  • Ability to work within a team environment
  • Ability to interact with varying levels of individuals (front line to management)
  • Ability to build relationships, manage conflict and embrace change
  • Demonstrates understanding of financial, commercial, and operational business drivers and risks
  • Builds trust with business partners and demonstrates the ability to influence outside of direct reporting line and across functions, when needed
  • Can glean insights from data and drive action based on those insights
  • Shows flexibility in leveraging different approaches to analyzing problems
  • Demonstrates comfort with ambiguity and ability to integrate disparate sources of information
