- Review contracts and prepare customer invoices for parts orders (i.e.hardware) and progress-based billing, including deposit/milestone billings,in a construction contracting environment (i.e. medical equipment and software installation projects)
- Record journal entries for revenue, billed and unbilled accounts receivable, deferred revenue, and other accounting areas, as needed
- Apply, and become a subject matter expert of, ASC 606 and company revenue recognition policies
- Review and summarize customer contracts for proper revenue recognition in accordance withthe aforementioned policies
- Assist in month-end close processes including financial reporting for senior management
- Support financial statement audits
- Assist in the development and documentation of business processes and accounting policies to strengthen internal controls
- Preparing detailed analysis of monthly and quarterly financial results
- Change management focus – participate in exciting automation projects and other process improvements surrounding billing and revenue recognition
- 5+ years of relevant accounting experience, with an emphasis on billing and revenue recognition
- Typically requires a bachelor's or master's degree in accounting, finance or a related business or economics major
- Prior construction industry or progress-based style billing (i.e. AIA) experience is preferred
- Must demonstrate an understanding of the entire order to cashcycle
- Proficiency in Excel
- Proficiency in NetSuite is highly preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Self-starter, detail oriented, critical thinker and problem solver with ability to work with minimal supervision
- Ability to work on tight deadlines, communicate status updates and effectively manage the completion of work within the established project plan timelines

TigerConnect is looking for a highly motivated Senior Project Accountant, Revenue and Billing to join our team. This person is responsible formaintainingtimely, accurate financial records, with an emphasis on the order-to-cash cycle(billing and revenue recognition) for the Nurse Call business unit. He or she will assume ownership of a range of account reconciliations, financial closing activities, and other projects. The candidate shall have an in-depth understanding of the financial statements and working knowledge of US GAAP and internal controls. This is a hybrid position based out of our Mexico City office.
