The Business Data Analyst - Customer actively participates in the analysis and decomposition of business processes, documents the business process requirements, and designs the system enablers to support the organization's To-Be process vision for the SOLAR program.
The Business Data Analyst - Customer reports to the Business Data Domain Architect - Customer.- ABOUT THE JOB (RESPONSIBILITIES):_
- Lead and execute cleansing activities in respective domain
- Responsible for scheduling validation sessions and helping to lead other validators in activities
- Construct/Enrich data as needed within respective domain
- Set up master data for testing purposes under the direction of the respective data domain lead
- Manage defects that are not related to design with input from respective data domain lead
- Continuously monitor data quality using a combination of reports provided and business and system knowledge and drive cleansing activities as appropriate
- Identify, document, escalates and resolve issues
- Develop business process documentation (process flows, business process procedures, etc)
- Develop presentations
- Assist in the development of training materials (identification, documentation, validation, etc)
- Identify test scenarios and develop test scripts
- Test system(s) configuration, development objects, and userauthorizations
- Provide first line of support during implementation stabilization period
- Support data conversion activities (strategy, data cleansing, validation, etc)
- Deliver training to enduser community
- Assist in formal and informal change management activities
- ABOUT YOU (QUALIFICATIONS):_
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business or equivalent experience. Advanced degree preferred
Experience:
- +3 years as a Business Data Analyst
- +3 years in data migration, data maintenance, or data governance
- +3 years SAP Customer Master Experience Required
- +4 years in data management preferred
- Information technology & SAP experience required
- Advanced Excel experience required (comfortable using formulas incl. vlookup, countif, etc., comfortable using pivot tables and graphs to display data in a visually appealing and informative manner)
- Customer support experience preferred
- Collibra Data Catalog experience preferred
- Winshuttle experience preferred
- SQL experience preferred
Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to quickly learn organizational structure, business strategies and processes
- Knowledgeable on business process modelling/mapping in the data management/maintenance area
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to move forward with incomplete information
- Experience as a system user or implementation team member
- Excellent team player skills, with strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to raise relevant issues, drive for solution, and make decisions under time constraints
- Experience with system implementations preferred
- Experience with conducting presentations and training preferred
- Capable of documenting business and functional requirements for current/future state processes
- Ability to represent change within the organization
