In our ORT division based in Guadalajara we are looking for a highly motivated
Embedded Software Engineer.

Responsibilities

  • Develop microcontroller code for robotics safety systems.
  • Contribute to the development of automated hardware test frameworks.
  • Contribute to other softwarerelated engineering activities such as documentation, validation and verification.

Job Requirements

  • BS or higher in Computer Science, Electrical Computer Engineering, or similar
  • 5 or more years of C/C++ development experience for embedded systems
  • Good understanding of various aspects of embedded systems: SoC, microcontroller architecture, board block diagrams, board schematics, register maps, linker scripts, realtime operating systems, etc.
  • Experience creating and verifying software requirements.
  • Linux, Python, and Git proficiency
  • Willingness to get IEC 61508 training
  • English language fluency

Nice to Have

  • Previous experience with robotics and/or electrical engineering
  • Experience with ARM M-Core MCUs (STMicro experience is an additional bonus)
  • Experience with Docker, Jenkins
  • Experience with industrial networking (CIP, EtherCat, or PROFINET) and/or related Safety protocols (CIP Safety, FSoE, PROFIsafe)
