WHAT THE CANDIDATE WILL DO:


  • Start to finish representation and support for Network RFP's
  • Manage carrier and capacity negotiations according to customer strategies.
  • Lead mini bids according to account needs.
  • Lead carrier improvement plan processes as required.
  • Continuous savings initiatives through market benchmark and network analysis.
  • Strategic carrier selection for capacity solutions and service improvements.
  • Interpret and publish carrier scorecards and service metrics.
  • Carriers meeting and QBR's.
  • Support on carriers' touchless execution service through MacroPoint, EDI, etc.
  • Act as an escalation point between operations and carriers.
  • Market intelligence and proactive analytics to identify trends.
  • Leverage UF network carrier relationships.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:


  • College degree in International Business, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineer or related.
  • 3+ years in carrier procurement, carrier management or related jobs.
  • Truckload market knowledge domestic and crossborder.
  • Understanding of transportation cost structure.
  • Microsoft Excel-Advanced knowledge including but not limited to VLookup, Pivot Tables and advanced formulas.
  • Effective analytical and problemsolving capabilities.
  • Negotiation skills.
  • Proficient Spanish and English written and verbal.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:


  • Simultaneous management of multiple tasks.
  • Ability to envision and implement new concepts/strategies.
  • Ability to communicate and work with different internal teams and external customer at all levels.
  • Ability to understand market trends.
