Job Description:


Ensure the process works at the optimum level, to the required rate of output, and quality expectations to meet customer requirements.


  • Enhance the quality of products (automotive and consumer), reduce customer complaints, ensure compliance with customer regulations, and provide adherence to internal Quality and TS/19649 requirements.
  • Set and maintain all operating process parameters to achieve high levels of production and efficiency targets.
  • Analyze and investigate root causes for deviations in process and quality performance and assist operations groups in the corrective action.
  • Design interim and longterm solutions to resolve process bottlenecks.
  • Deliver projects on time, within budget, in accordance with project success criteria, through prioritization, allocation of resources, budgeting, planning, and controlling.
  • Actively develop and/or participate in implementing cost savings initiatives involving waste minimization, productivity improvements, product recovery, and other process optimization opportunities through an active partnership with the Equipment Engineering group and operation teams.
  • Provide technical support for new products, interacting with different groups such as Process design, New product introduction, Research and development, Quality and Operation.
  • Provide support to plant operations to help solve technically challenging process related problems.
  • Implement technology transfer from Corporate Engineering, R&D, and the manufacturing core team to the Manufacturing Operations and Maintenance Teams, ensuring proper startup and training plans.
  • Develop and implement plans to achieve Plant Goals.
  • Prepare and Present Engineering reports and metrics results.
  • Participate in daily visual management core team meetings.
  • Design and modify SMT tooling (stencils, backup plates, especial JIGs, )
  • Manager machine programs (Oven, AOI, SPI, Xrays and P&P)

Required Profile:

  • Project management skills.
  • Capital budget development experience.
  • Proficiency with PC software Excel, Word, Power Point and Project Management.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Cost reduction experience.
  • Knowledgeable in process controls.
  • Team leadership, facilitation, collaboration and influencing skills required.
  • Professional career in Industrial Engineering in electronics or related career.
  • Bilingual.
  • Knowledge of APQP and quality processes.
  • Experience in problem solving and use of tools (8D's, error test, etc.)
  • Knowledge of ISO9001 or TS1694
  • Capacity to work under pressure.
  • Experience of Electronics process; SMT and Through-Hole.
  • Experience of machines programming P&P, AOI, SPI, Xray, Oven
