Your Tasks and Responsibilities

Responsible for supporting regional capital investment projects in the Americas Region.
Develop technically sound and cost effect designs while minimizing design expenditures.
Provide engineering and technology expertise during project execution.
Ensure compliance with industry and Bayer engineering standards; Has uptodate knowledge of Bayer Group

- and subgroup best practices related to his discipline and implements them in the project.

Supportconstruction with technical assistance, maintaining an orderly system of project files and supporting maintenance of Bayer standard design documents.
Responsible for providing discipline design documentation to multiple sites and multiple projects concurrently.
Makes independent decisions within defined areas of responsibility.

Who You Are

Education: Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering with the following relevant experience within applicable industry.
Experience: 8+ years of experience in Chemical, Pharmaceutical, or Petrochemical industry design preferred.
Software: CAD expertise in AutoCAD, CADWorx, Microstation, 3D Software or equivalent.
Fluent English, both spoken and written
Good Analytical and problem solving (decision making) skills.
Ability to work in different geographic locations.
Must be able to physically navigate through an industrial manufacturing facility including extensive stair climbing as well as ladder.
Willingness to execute projects at remote locations with 2050% travel.
General understanding of Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) requirements and responsibilities.
General understanding of PCT (Electrical) systems and design of these systems.
