Responsibilities

Brand Packaging Designer GBS North America

Main Purpose


As a Brand Packaging Designer for the GBS Frito Lay Team, you are responsible for the execution of comprehensive brand design projects within the Frito Lay North America portfolio.

You will demonstrate superior ability to inspire and influence brand design through fresh creative ideas with exceptional implementation, specially on packaging.

You will also engage with internal and external design and cross-functional partners from ideation through execution and implementation, with a big focus on adapating existing packaging designs to different formats and sizes.

You will bring design and the designer's mindset to life through the influence of art, fashion, music, lifestyle, and culture.

Through this you have the opportunity to influence change how people engage with our brands and how we change the future of food.

Accountabilities)

  • Brand Design & Development: Responsible for design, layout, and formatting of visual identity assets that include logos, typography, illustration, photography and other brand elements for a range of formats and packaging for the FLNA brand portfolio
  • Lifestyle, Design, & Culture: Responsible for staying ahead of current trends in design, fashion, music, lifestyle brands, packaging, social media, and other platforms. Followed by the need to translate into design work that elevates our brands, makes them hyper relevant and drives deep consumer love
  • Support FLNA

Design Team:

Build a strong collaboration with the North America Foods Design team to help them adapting multiple packaging assets to different format and sizes.


Qualifications

Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree in a directly related field (packaging design, graphic design, visual arts, communication etc.)
  • 3+ years of agency creative experience in packaging design, packaging adaptations and point of sale.
  • Language proficiency both in English and Spanish is a must for this role (FLUENT ENGLISH COMMUNICATION SKILLS ARE COMPULSORY).
  • Demonstrable fluency with Adobe CC suite of products, Photoshop and Illustrator.
  • Previous experience on adapting multiple assets to different ratios, sizes and shapes.
  • Knowledge of social aspect ratios and delivery filetypes.
  • An online portfolio showing a variety of standout work is a MUST.
  • Experience with creative teams in agency or inhouse agency environments; CPG Experience a plus.
  • Highly professional, with the ability to deliver solid work on tight schedules and work independently with little direction.
  • Presentation skills and proven ability to influence creative decision making.
  • Knowledge of PowerPoint, Teams, Sharepoint and Project Management Tools.
