Your role at Baxter

This Speialist IT role is to Support the day-to-day MAXIMO system operation. The person will also support the system implementation in Americas region in collaboration with the project leader.


This role will report directly to the Americas asset management manager, focus on the AMERICAS region and working closely with MAXIMO EMEA team members: regional IT leaders and the plant leaders.

What you'll be doing

  • Supporting and troubleshooting the incidents/issues under SLA.
  • Managing changes / improvement
  • Coordinating deliveries with developers, testers, and key users.
  • Ensure timely communication takes place to all key stakeholders for support issues and changes.
  • Providing feasibility studies and impact analysis.
  • Analyze business requirement/process, Identify, and understand broader business impact, assess alternative solutions and propose preferred solution.
  • Collaborate with development and testing teams for unit and functional testing
  • Create/update documents for support activities with respect to business processes
  • Functional and Technical Analysis of extended runs, recurring issues, performance issues, data volumes, job failures and other problem areas
  • Drive Continuous Improvements by fixing root causes, automation of support and reports
  • Drive meetings with onsite teams, SMEs, business users

  • Engineering Graduate / Computer Science Graduate
  • Minimum 5 years experience on MAXIMO 7.x version
  • 3+ years of progressive business experience in manufacturing environment
  • Strong functional expertise in MAXIMO version 7.6.x (Maintenance, spare parts and calibration)
  • Experience of System validation in a pharmaceutical environment is an added value
  • English language is mandatory, additional languages Spanish is an added value
