    The Operations Manager ensures stable, predictable, and scalable execution of daily manufacturing operations within an EMS environment . This role is key to strengthening operational discipline, developing Value Stream Managers, and embedding robust production systems that consistently deliver Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost results.

    With a strong P&L mindset , the Operations Manager drives budget control, routing ratio improvements, and sustainable productivity gains. Acting as a true multiplier , this role builds operational capability through people, fosters a strong continuous improvement culture, and ensures performance management and problem-solving are part of everyday operations.

    Responsibilities:

    • Ensure operational stability and consistency across manufacturing operations.
    • Coach, develop, and empower Value Stream Managers.
    • Drive daily management routines and performance control.
    • Lead structured problem-solving and continuous improvement initiatives.
    • Coordinate closely with Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and Finance.
    • Standardize processes to enable scalability, and ownership culture.
    • Embed cost awareness and operational excellence into daily execution.

    What your profile should look like:

    • You hold a Master's Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain or related field.
    • You bring 10+ years of experience in manufacturing , ideally within an EMS environment .
    • You have a solid understanding of SMT, PCBA, and assembly operations.
    • You are comfortable leading large, cross-functional teams through influence and coaching.
    • You operate with a strong P&L and cost-control mindset .
    • You communicate confidently in advanced English; basic German is a plus.
    • You thrive in dynamic environments and are able to make clear, calm decisions under pressure.
    • You are passionate about developing people and building sustainable operational systems.
