Skills, education, and experience requirements:
•Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering;
•Minimum of ten (10) years of experience;
•Design of analog/digital circuits, power supply, microcontrollers, debugging tools and LCD displays (characters/graphics, monochrome/color);
•Hardware architecture of electronic systems and integrated MMI applications;
•Experience in analyzing safety and reliability requirements;
•Ability to use basic electronic test equipment such as power supplies, multimeters, oscilloscopes, function generators, etc. Asset:
•High speed video processing
•FPGA (VHDL), "C" programming language
•Familiar with the development of Operating Systems and embedded software, RTOS
•C/C++ Programming Language; experience with Python is a plus
•Experience with electromagnetic interference
•Ability to solder and use prototyping tools
•Experience with Mentor PADS Schematic and Layout software a plus
•IPC Standards
•Background of military & Aerospace standards with direct experience to meet RTCA/DO-160 Environmental Testing, MIL-TSD-810 and MIL-STD-461 and military standards
•Effective written/verbal communication skills; computing skills (Windows, Microsoft Office) Competence & attitude requirements:
•Demonstrate ability to work in a team
•Positive and Professional attitude
•Bilingual (Spanish - English): spoken and written
•Results oriented, ability to work under pressure
