Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a Failure Analysis Engineer located in Guadalajara, North Campus.

Reporting to the Operations Engineering Manager the Failure Analysis Engineer role involvesResponsible for Implementing and maintaining cost-effective methods of troubleshooting systems, software, and/or equipment.

What a typical day looks like:

Directs and/or coordinates electronic engineering and/or technical personnel in the design of method of failure analysis, testing, and test control apparatus and equipment, or software and systems testing.
Directs and coordinates electronic engineering activities concerned with the development, procurement, installation, and calibration of instruments, equipment, and control devices required to test, telemeter, and record test data.
Directs and coordinates the strategies of debugging the failure product of the test process.
Analyzes and interprets Failures data and prepares technical reports for use by electronic or software engineering, and management personnel.
Develops or uses computer software and hardware to conduct tests on electronic products and systems or software.
Trains and instructs floor support, debug technicians, and test operators on test hardware and/or software, failures solutions as well as proper problemsolving techniques.
Resolves test yield problems by performing analysis of root causes, developing, and coordinating corrective action measures, and monitoring improvements.
Analyze circuits and topologies to identify marginal issues or compatibility issues between components.
Yield trend and Pareto analysis to identify epidemic failures that required deeper analysis.
Provide technical documentation and tools for diagnostic purposes.

The experience we're looking to add to our team:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
Experience Mid or Sr in a similar position.
English advanced.
Experience with measuring and diagnostic instruments.
Experience working in the electronics and telecommunications industry.
Availability to travel.
