The Big Picture


Howden are a global engineering business who focus on providing clients with industrial products that help multiple sectors improve their everyday processes.

As a Buyer you will process PO's for suppliers - high volume, perform other tasks as assigned dealing with Inventory purchases, stock items and other parts needed to be funneled down the pipeline for a smooth order processing for the final item assembly.

Other Tasks / Responsibilities may be assigned accordingly and based on increasing experience and strategic restructuring.

What Needs To Be Done?


Cutting PO's on time Supporting colleagues / fellow project buyers accordingly Supporting PPM's and PM Accurate / prompt feedback from Suppliers and timely clear communication to PMs and other pertinent stakeholders.

Timely entry/OTD to customers Accuracy, continuous follow-up, visibility and communication.

What Do You Need To Bring?

  • Essential skills, knowledge & behaviours_
  • Bachelor Degree
  • Selfmotivated
  • Advanced competency in MS products, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • ERP experience
  • Methodical, precise and attention to detail.
