As the E/E Process Planner, you will be responsible for planning, implementation and support of the vehicle electrical / electronic testing, validation, programming and commissioning through the manufacturing process.

According to the project assignment, you will plan the required facility, commission and hand over to assembly for series production.

Your remit will include developing and integrating software to enable the vehicle to be tested, programmed and commissioned through the assembly process.

This ranges from new model integration, change management of new content and features, through to right first time and process optimisation to contribute to the competitiveness of Plant San Luis Potos

You will be the interface partner for E/E process planning for the assigned assembly areas and ensure regular exchange with interface partners in development, analysis and maintenance.

According to the role, responsibility for IT system management, both software and hardware management and interface into central IT departments.

Support for quality problems at Plant San Luis Potos (second third level support), support for the Featureteam for standardized solution finding for all BMW manufacturing facilities.

Active participation in the International Featureteam work including collaboration of network tasks, innovation. You will implement new plant technology and processes across all involved sites as agreed in the Featureteam.
Occasional travel for international Featureteam meetings, network support and training.


Qualifications:


  • Bachelorsdegree levelin Electronics, Software or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Experience of working in technically complex environments and leading crossfunctional teams to implement projects and process optimizations is required.
  • Knowledge of vehicle electronic systems
  • Excellent IT skills
  • Proven ability in data analytics is preferred.
  • Fluent business English
