TE Connectivity's Operations Managers are responsible for the day-to-day operations and short/long-term planning for the groups they manage. They manage manufacturing, production control, engineering, inventory control, EH&S, shipping/receiving, etc. focusing on the development of technologies and continuous improvement and translating customer requirements into state-of-the-art manufacturing strategies and processes.

What your background should look like:

Short Description

Providing ECE (excellent customer experience) and customer service, total quality and a positive employee environment.
Driving Continuous Improvement in line with strategy (TEOA).
Establishing and operating production areas in a safe, environmentally sound and prudent manner and in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
Ensuring that the production areas are maintained in accordance with the Operational and Manufacturing procedures and best practices within the Business Unit.
Ensure to achieve Operations KPI's (Safety, COPQ, Productivity, Efficiency and Conversion Cost)

What your background should look like:

Bachelors or Master's degree with 5+ yrs of manufacturing leadership experience
Prior experience working as an Operational Leader with proven experience.
Strong planning and organizational skills with the ability to work under pressure, effectively managing competing priorities with available resources.
Experienced in leading and creating a high performing team.
Deep knowledge of lean manufacturing tools and CI (5S, Six Sigma, VST)
Strong oral and written communications
Project Management skills
IT Skills (SAP, MS, Office)
Recommends best work practices and improvements; coaching employees to be the best version of themselves
