The quality engineer will report to quality manager and is responsible for improving and sustaining our quality performance to world-class levels.
His/her drives the achievement of the Safety, Quality, Delivery, Environmental, Cost and People (SQDECP) objectives. You achieve success in partnering with cross-functional stakeholders
Description/Responsibility
- · Drive continuous improvement of quality by ensuring proper use of tools, procedures, and data, achieving world‑class performance across all key quality KPIs.
- Ensure effective implementation of the Quality Management System (QMS), including ISO 9001, and lead the development and maintenance of procedures, work instructions, and documentation.
- Lead quality initiatives and projects with cross‑functional teams, fostering a strong problem‑solving culture and building internal capabilities.
- Collaborate with Purchasing, Engineering, and Supplier Quality to strengthen processes for monitoring, containing, and communicating supplier and product quality issues, including field actions.
- Participate in meetings, workshops, and assigned projects while maintaining compliance with company policies and developing a strong network of trained quality points of contact (POCs).
Skills/Qualifications
- Proven record of Quality improvement initiatives required; in manufacturing environment preferred.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English, with strong presentation skills.
- Ability to communicate respectfully, efficiently, and effectively within a multi-cultural and international environment.
Minimum Education and experience
- · The ideal candidate for this position has a Bachelor of Science in Engineering/Production or Supply Chain Management, or similar field, required.
- · Solid knowledge on Quality management system implementation with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- · Ability to set demanding targets and then motivate teams / individuals to deliver outside their comfort zones.
- · Delivery focus, process and result oriented.
- · Ability to communicate efficiently internally and with stakeholders.
- · Excellent Customer Focus.
- · Strong interpersonal skills demonstrated ability for teamwork, and self-motivated.
- · Excellent prioritization of tasks and time management skills.
