    Our client is a sustainable energy platform specialized in the financing, development, construction, and operation of solar energy, onshore wind, and battery storage assets. The company, part of a sustainable investment group, has experienced significant growth since opening its regional headquarters expanding its portfolio to a range of 2 to 3 gigawatts (GW). Its vision is to establish itself as one of the leading sustainable energy platforms in Europe.

    This entity operates with a sustainable investment group focused on generating and managing essential assets on behalf of clients. Currently, the group manages a portfolio of wind, solar, and hydropower assets in the range of 16 to 17 GW and oversees EUR 14 to 15 billion on behalf of institutional investors worldwide.

    Misión

    As the Country Manager for Mexico at Energy company, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our operations and growth within the Mexican market. This role requires a strategic leader with a deep understanding of the energy industry in Mexico, including regulatory frameworks, market dynamics, and stakeholder relationships.

    Perfil

    • Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy to maximize the company's presence and profitability in the Mexican market.
    • Identify growth opportunities, market trends, and potential risks, and develop strategies to capitalize on them.
    1. Regulatory Compliance:
      • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and permits governing the energy sector in Mexico.
      • Maintain strong relationships with regulatory agencies and stay informed about any changes or updates to regulations.
    2. Project Development and Management:
      • Oversee the development, construction, and operation of renewable energy projects (solar, wind, etc.) in Mexico.
      • Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and according to quality standards.
    3. Stakeholder Engagement:
      • Cultivate and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government officials, local communities, utility companies, and industry organizations.
      • Represent the company in meetings, negotiations, and industry events to promote our interests and establish partnerships.
    4. Financial Management:
      • Develop and manage the country budget, ensuring financial targets are met and expenses are effectively controlled.
      • Monitor financial performance metrics and implement corrective actions as needed to optimize profitability.
    5. Team Leadership:
      • Build and lead a high-performing team, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to achieve company goals.
      • Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability within the Mexico team.
