Job title:

Test Engineering Manager


Main Roles & Responsibilities:


  • Define the KPIs for test and repair department.
  • Monitor the performance for test and repair department.
  • Work with the team to achieve the objective and fulfill the client's commitment.
  • Continue to improve for test and repair department.
  • Ensure safety first within the area of responsibility enhancing or keeping equipment safe for all employees.
  • Coordinate test engineers in accordance with the company policies and priorities.
  • Participate in the selection, hiring and evaluation for test engineering personnel.
  • Responsible for ensuring the installation, validation, and release of equipment within the area of responsibility.
  • Coordinates and monitors QPA, NPI and ECN activities within the area of responsibility.
  • Receive feedback from different departments to maximize team performance.
  • Ensures performance monitoring based on defined metrics within the area such as FPY and provides feedback to other departments as needed to implement actions to drive continuous improvement.
  • Monitor equipment improvement trends using trend analysis to seek continuous improvement.
  • Keeps the inventory and status of active test equipment continuously updated and communicates it to PM.
  • Assists and supports meetings with external, internal or department clients as needed.

Requirements for the job:

Formal Studies:bachelor's degree in electronic or Mechatronics or Master of Administration or Engineering with experience in SMT electronics and test equipment

Experience:3 years of previous experience in a similar position in companies in the SMT for electronic products, 6 years or more of previous experience in a similar position in companies in the SMT for computer products

Languages: English Advanced


Skills:


  • Knowledge of computer packages Word, Excel, Power Point
  • Previous experience as a test engineer and skills to diagnose equipment failures.
  • Administration, supervision, and direction of engineering and technical personnel.

Knowledge:


  • Ability to generate test equipment capacity studies according to demand.
  • Ability to effectively communicate and negotiate with internal and external clients.
  • Ability to perform analysis based on technical data from test equipment.
