BASIC FUNCTION


Under the direct supervision of the Capital Project Eng and Maint Manager is responsible for installing, maintaining and solving problems of all the automated equipment in the Plant, in order to keep the equipment in good conditions.


SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Performs modifications in control programs according to production necessities.
  • Performs preventive maintenance to control devices according to the maintenance program, in order to avoid malfunctions.
  • Maintains and solve problems of all the equipment of the Plant, such as: PLC ́s, Robots, Drives sensors and Instrumentation.
  • Supports manufacturing improvement through KOS and supports a safe work environment.
  • Design and Build small machines to improve production work and reduce Takt Time.
  • Performs the assignments established by his Supervisor to maintain plant equipment in good operating conditions.
  • Create and execute projects to maintain equipment, elaborating the project case with proposal, benefits, risks and budget

******Supervisory Relationships: •Capital Project Eng and Maint Manager.


Organization Relationships:

  • Frequent contact with all Process Engineers.
  • Frequent contact with all Production and Maintenance Foreman.
  • Moderate contact with all General Supervisors.

External Business Relationship:

  • Moderate contact with tooling and machine vendors.
