As we have diversified our portfolio organically and inorganically, we are constantly adapting and leading the ever-changing market.The Coca-Cola Company's Latin America Operating Unit (OU) is split into three zones: North, Central, and South Zone.
Today we are looking for a new Strategy Director to join our team and help continue our history of growth in our LATAM North Zone.
In this role you will be responsible for supporting and challenging the North Zone Franchise Unit in implementing the commercial strategy and developing actionable commercial insights at market level.
As an Strategy Director, you will have the opportunity to connect with multiple teams around the world and start building your international career in a leading company in the industry.
Leverage data to generate insights to identify granular regional opportunities and create actionable commercial levers at market level
Identify and lead strategic projects in support of the growth goals for the Franchise North Zone
Managing the Franchise strategic project portfolio, working with Franchise teams and OU functions
Collaborating with Franchise and Commercial leaders to drive execution strategy
Support North Zone Franchise and Strategic Integration on system end-to-end alignment process with Coca-Cola Bottlers at local level
Capture and network best practices, import and export good ideas
Multiple interactions and negotiations with senior management team members of the Coca-Cola system
Organization and focus:
prioritize through a pragmatic fact-based approach, handling trade-offs, balancing immediate and long-term priorities
Manage a team of 10 resources
Qualifications & Experience
10+ years of Business and/or functional experience in both Operation (change to commercial strategy - business development) and Strategy related areas.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related
Proven trajectory of collaborating and influencing cross geographically, cross functionally, internally, and externally
People management experience with excellent leadership capability, able to work in a diverse cultural environment, efficient communicator and influencer
Must be able to effectively communicate in both English and Spanish
Solid business acumen skills:
to translate data and insights to help inform key business decisions
Strategic thinking:
integrate diverse business insights and connecting the dots to develop holistic approach
Problem framing and problem-solving: ability to structure and coordinate / lead cross functional complex analysis, initiatives, or efforts
Systemic thinking:
Experience with large-scale organizational change efforts and global capabilities implementation. Being comfortable with ambiguity and willingness to challenge the status quo
Synthesis and storytelling:
Communicate, influence and convince stakeholders through a structured, fact base and action-oriented storytelling
Preferred:
MBA degree
Strategy Consulting background (MBB, Big 4 or similar)
Work experience across multiple countries and geographies
